While you do not have to remove the mechanical pump, it makes the engine compartment a lot neater. I got an aluminum block-off plate from 02again.com to cover the hole, should I remove mine as well when I install an electric one. One thing I would do, if you leave the pump on, is remove the pushrod in the pump that runs off the cam lobe. At least…[Read more]
